Starbucks are widely known for their famous frappicinos making over 2 billion dollars. Many places and countries are known to have iconic frappes, such as the Java Chip or Pumpkin Spice. The strawberry and cream flavoured frappechino is a favourite during summer time.
When I made this Frappechhino, I used the following recipe:
Servings: 2 cups available
Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
10 ice cubes
1 cup skim milk (type of milk can be exchanged for suitability)
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbs powdered sugar
8 - 10 frozen and defrosted strawberries
Whipped cream for topping.
Method:
Place ice cubes, skim milk, extract, sugar and strawberries in a blender.
Blend mixture until it is smooth, creamy and even in colour
Place in cup and top with whipped cream.
In my strawberry frappechino, shown to the left, I chose not to use cream as a topping.
